That’s it for changes. There are a couple of surprises on there, like Shun being ahead of Zerb and Greg Thrasher falling to #3. Some might also be surprised that there was no change at quarterback, despite the rave reviews for Ricky Dobbs’ performance in the scrimmage. The next depth chart update will probably be released after the next scrimmage, which is Saturday.

How good is Dellahooke from what you have seen or heard?
We could use a good punter who can get us some hang time and also pin teams back (that was a weakness last year).
I am psyched to see how Nate Frazier performs- he should be our best lineman since Terrance Anderson(I believe I have his name right and he was real tough in the middle.
He should be a real bull-force!
While Sovie seems to be in the lines of our good linebackers the last few years-doesnt that 201 weight worry anyone other than myself?
Now- with the ball back on kickoffs by 5 yards how has Harmon and Bullen looked on kickoffs and will they split FG/KO or is it Harmons job?
There was no confidence beyond 40 yards from what I saw and hope we can at least get shots from 45.
Guess the QB spot is Kaipos to lose and I still would like to see JB as the eventual starting QB- he just appears to be stronger in his stature-running and arm and its only a matter of time.
I think its great because JP will not hesitate to move QB`s in and out if we are stuck as opposed to one guy no matter what.
BTW-
Does anyone know how the Navy career of Shaun Stephenson turned out?
He sent my son a great autographed picture and he was such an inspirational story-but then I never heard about him after that?
1. This is the first time I’ve seen Delahooke mentioned since signing day, so I’m as curious as you are.
2. Terrence Anderson played center, not defense.
3. Don’t take this the wrong way, but what is with the Jarrod Bryant obsession? Not that I have anything against the guy, but what on earth have you seen from him that you haven’t seen from Kaipo? Do you not believe the coaches? Did you see how Kaipo led the first team offense on four scoring drives on Saturday? What on earth does Kaipo need to do for you to accept him as the starter?
Kaipo is the clear #1. He’s made some MAJOR strides in the offseason in regards to his mechanics, and just looks a lot more comfortable as a passer.
Bad call on Anderson-great memory I have .
No offense taken on my JB obsession (maybe its the Hoover High-Mr Alabama background)- I just had have this lasting impression of Kaipo vs Rutgers last year and it may be 100% wrong as he did do well afterwards and was not that bad vs ND/BC.
But I need to see / hear more than what happens in the spring and the first 2 games should be a good test -especially the rematch with Rutgers.
Its not a fair assessment to most I know-but thats just me.
It does not mean I root against Kaipo either-thats not the case and since PJ says he is # 1 then that tells me more than anything else.
It was a fair competition and he did nothing to lose the spot..
